Whole Foods Nutrition Coaching

More and more studies are finding that refined foods are not giving us the nutrients, antioxidants, and energy to sustain us in our busy lifestyles, let alone give us the raw materials to thrive and live our dreams. We believe that, as humans, we are not meant to merely exist and put up with radical energy swings, depression, fatigue, digestive problems and chronic disease. Rather, we are meant to have more than enough energy to carry out our life's dreams and help others along the way.

Buying foods that are close to the way they exist naturally (or growing our own), preparing them in a healthy way with unrefined oils and whole grains and enjoying them with deep gratitude are foundations of a Whole Foods Nutrition lifestyle. Sometimes individuals or families need a coach to get started on a healthier path. Whole Foods Nutrition Coaching is different from going to a Registered Dietician - our Whole Foods assessment looks at not only portions and amounts of carbohydrates, proteins, fats and vitamins, we look at where the foods come from, how it may have been grown or raised and how they are prepared.

In our coaching we assess, based on the Five-Elements system of Chinese Medicine, if you are eating the right foods for your body, mind and spirit, We ask, is it a Whole Food or a processed de-natured one? What are the trade-offs to your health for the convenience of eating highly processed foods on a regular basis?
